Natural and Oranically Grown Produce from North Georgia Mountains
Craneberry Garden is located in the absolutely beautiful North Georgia Mountains. We have the opportunity to live in an area that so far still offers a healthy environment. Our air is pure, our water is purer than in cities and even our red rocky clay soil in not contaminated. It is the goal of Craneberry Garden to use these resources to bring nature to you: in the form of naturally and organically grown produce, plants native to North Georgia or Appalachia, successful navitars of our native plants, plant starts to help you grow these and assorted products.
We work very closely with selected partners who share these goals and parctices. All are Christians
Seasonal Produce
Native Plants for Appalachia, Georgia and Nation
Beginning in 2024 we will begin offering Native Plants. Both perennial and annual. Native plants improve the environment, are low maintenance and can be excellent foer prepping. Require liitle or no fertilizing, pest control or upkeep. Focus will be on edible or those that can be used for teas.
November 2024: We successfully grew several Groundnuts this year in garden. 
Goundnuts are native from Canada to Florida, and are edible both tubers and beans. The tubers are similar to potatoes and these plants were extensively used by Indian tribes as a food source. Look for plant starts to be available leter this year. If interested in initial offering let us know.
